As he gets closer to joining the team, Villa is working on finalizing a deal with Bizot's current club, Brest, as well as his personal terms with the Premier League side.
Bizot has one year left on his contract with Brest and played a significant role for the team last season, keeping 12 clean sheets in 41 games.
He will be the new back-up goalkeeper for Emi Martinez, who is currently the first-choice goalkeeper, following the departure of Robin Olsen to Malmo.
