Glasner addressed rumors of a new contract before the game against Bournemouth, confirming that talks have indeed taken place.
"I've had several meetings with the club's chairman, Steve Parish, to discuss our goals and vision for the team," Glasner explained. "We talk almost every day about how to achieve success and continue on our current path."
Glasner emphasized the importance of having a shared vision and goals for the team. "If we can find a common pathway and goal for Crystal Palace, we will begin negotiations for a new contract. If not, we will still discuss the possibility of a new contract," he said.
Glasner was also asked about the situation between striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and midfielder Eberechi Eze. Mateta had claimed that former Palace star Wilfried Zaha joked that he would never play for the France national team.
Glasner stated that he is not aware of any details surrounding the situation and does not discuss social media activities with his players. He believes that the team has more pressing matters to focus on.
Glasner was also proud to have received the Premier League Manager of the Month award for September and the Austrian Coach of the Year award. He credited his players and staff for their hard work and dedication, stating that the awards are a team effort.
Finally, Glasner provided an update on the team's injury status, confirming that there are no new injuries and all players are available for selection, except for Chadi Riad and Cheick Doucoure who are out with long-term injuries.
