Carroll helped the club's Under-18 team win several titles, including the FA Youth Cup, Premier League South, and Premier League National Final at the end of the season.
Aston Villa's Academy Manager, Mark Harrison, is pleased to see Carroll commit to the club long-term.
"We are excited to see TJ sign his first professional contract, having been with the Academy since he was 9 years old," Harrison said.
"Carroll was a key player for the Under-18 team last season, consistently contributing to their success and even scoring in the FA Youth Cup Final.
