Pesci's move to Merseyside comes after a successful season in the Hungarian top flight, where he played 30 matches to help Puskas Akademia finish second.
As a talented young goalkeeper, Pesci has received recognition for his skills, including being nominated for the prestigious Golden Boy award in 2025. He has also earned five caps for Hungary's U21 national team.
Liverpool is believed to have paid an initial €1.5 million fee for Pesci's transfer.
According to his sports agency, Em Sports Consulting, Pesci is excited to join the Liverpool community, stating, "Get ready Anfield, Pecsi is a Red." They also noted that he has always been a true fan of the team, and is now proud to be a part of it.
